Pilot Resource Management

The role of the Pilot and his interaction with the bridge team is constantly under scrutiny.

This course is designed to address the problems Pilots face on a regular basis and aims to improve the understanding of human element issues in the Bridge Team environment.

This is a full two-day course that can be delivered at a venue convenient for you.

This ‘Pilot Resource Management’ course satisfies the criteria contained within IMO’s Resolution ‘A960’ – Recommendations on Training and Certification and on Operational Procedures for Maritime Pilots other than Deep Sea Pilots.’ Training is delivered in accordance with the guidelines published by the International Maritime Pilots Association.

The course is comprised of presentations, exercises, case study analysis and most importantly interactive discussion. Course content can be adjusted to meet the needs of the attendees; recognizing the fact that many Pilots have already taken BRM/MRM training.
